We had a boss time in a great room, spacious with a lovely view of the Sky Tower! But the breakfast could've been better, a bit of a letdown, la. Otherwise, sound service made everything enjoyable! Definitely a solid stay, just keep an eye on the breakfast menu.

Charming stay with a hidden gem
The spacious deluxe king studio became our cozy retreat, where mornings unfolded on the balcony, framed by city views. The warm kitchenette was perfect for late-night snacks.
Alas, a lack of staff made check-in sluggish, and we often felt the front desk was unattended. Parking was another challenge, often leading to a game of musical chairs.

i had such high hopes for this place, but the black mold in my room was disappointing, not to mention the rude night staff. also, i woudl ve been thrilled with some complimentary chocolates for the inconvenience, but alas, nothing. i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t. total letdown.

Target audience budget-friendly
I had a decent time but I have to say, the central location with that park view was pure gold. The staff were quite friendly, helped me out when I needed a recommendation for local eats.
Wasn’t the lowest price I’ve ever paid, but for what I got, it was still decent enough.

Chill vibes and great views
We had a really nice time! Got upgraded to the exec suite with a fab view over Myers Park. The kitchenette was super handy for making late-night snacks. Prathmesh was a star, helping us with room service and a smooth checkout. A bit of road noise at times, but nothing too crazy.

great stay but check-in could improve
The family room with two double beds was spacious and comfortable for our needs. Having a washing machine and dryer in the room was incredibly convenient during our three-night stay. The private parking provided a sense of security, which I appreciated. The city view was a delightful bonus, making mornings enjoyable as we sipped our coffee and took in the scenery.
The check-in process felt a bit sluggish due to limited staff at the front desk.

Ear plugs could help with nighttime noise.

The spacious deluxe king studio offered fantastic lighting, making it a cozy spot to relax while enjoying views of the city. I appreciated having a kitchenette, perfect for midnight snack preparations after a long day out.
There were definitely some quirks. I got a room that had a leaky shower screen, leading to water all over the floor—never a pleasant surprise. I noticed the bathroom was pretty tired, with some peeling paint and a delaminating door that could use some TLC. The mattress protector leaves something to be desired too, with a few stains I'd rather not have seen. Plus, I had a bit of trouble with the TV setup. it relied on hotel Wi-Fi for casting, which was spotty at best, making it frustrating to find something decent to watch.

I had an excellent stay at the Parkside. The Deluxe King Studio was spacious and well-equipped with a kitchenette, allowing for convenient meal preparation during my work trip. The in-room washer/dryer was a standout feature, enabling me to manage my laundry easily. the location was beneficial, being a short distance from Auckland's central business district, making it easy to attend meetings and explore the area.
The bathroom showed signs of wear and could use some refurbishment.
